Rural Attractiveness Explorer
Rural Attractiveness Explorer
The Rural Attractiveness Explorer (RAE) helps to assess the impact of different policy options on rural attractiveness of PoliRural pilot regions. RAE builds on the outputs of the Policy Options Explorer and transforms them into the Rural Attractiveness Index (RAI). The RAI is made up of 6 sub-indices, each of which corresponds to the areas generally considered relevant for rural attractiveness: social capital, natural capital, anthropic capital (human-made environment), economic capital, institutional capital, cultural capital. More information about RAE, including access to the application itself, is available on the Digital Innovation Hub. PoliRural’s approach to rural attractiveness as a concept is elaborated in deliverables D1.1, D1.4 and D1.7.
