Semantic Explorer
Semantic Explorer
Semanic Explorer, or Semex, is a text analytics tool that helps people make informed decisions while working with large amounts of information under time constraints. Using functions like topic extraction, named entity recognition, geo-location, tokenization, and sentiment analysis, Semex allows users to extract insights from structured and unstructured data sources in just a few clicks. During the project, Semex was tested in a policy evaluation task to examine sentiment toward rural measures found in online sources. These results are provided for 10 out of 12 regions because the tool was not configured to work with the Hebrew and Macedonian languages. Information on how Semex works and how to use it is provided in deliverable D2.3 and the accompanying User Guide.
